It's time to dust off old basic electronic principles I learned at high school so here is my new idea:
Designing and building a step sequencer with a synth engine and samples player for drum machine. OK, there's a compact name for all this.

Yes, I'm experimenting with the Arduino Due board in these summer days and these are the first results of my study.
For now I'm familiarizing with buttons handling and LCD programming. Basic operations but it is a good beginning.
I think I'm ready for ordering some electronic components.
